This is a translation for your convenience. In case of any discrepancy, the Portuguese version prevails.
Who we are
This website belongs to Reminorma Unipessoal, Lda., which runs the AutoMeirim workshop, registered at Avenida 29 de Agosto, 40, 2705-869 Terrugem – Sintra, Portugal. For any question about your personal data, write to [email protected].
What data we collect on this website
None. The website has no forms, user accounts, analytics or advertising tools. The fonts are hosted on the website itself, with no connections to external services.
As with any website, the server that hosts it (Cloudflare) logs technical request data, such as the IP address, to keep the service secure and working.
When you contact us
If you call, text, WhatsApp or email us, we use your name, contact details and information about your car only to reply to you and provide the service you asked for. We do not share this data with third parties for commercial purposes. When we handle an accident repair, we share with the insurer only what is needed for the assessment and the repair.
WhatsApp messages are also processed by WhatsApp (Meta), under that company's privacy policy.
Cookies
The website itself does not use cookies. The only exception is the Google Maps map shown on its pages: Google may use its own cookies and collect data such as your device's IP address.
That is why, on your first visit, we ask whether you accept the Google map. If you accept, the map appears straight away. If you decline, Google is not contacted: the map only loads if you click “Show map”, and you can always open the address in Google Maps.
Your choice is saved in your browser (it is not sent to us) for 6 months, and you can change it at any time under “Cookie settings”, at the bottom of every page. The language you choose is also saved in your browser, only so that we don't suggest another one again.

Your rights
You can ask us at any time to access, correct or delete your data, or object to its processing, by writing to [email protected]. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Portuguese data protection authority, CNPD (cnpd.pt).
Complaints Book and dispute resolution
We have a physical Complaints Book (Livro de Reclamações) at the workshop and an electronic one at livroreclamacoes.pt.
AutoMeirim is not bound to any alternative dispute resolution body. In the event of a consumer dispute, consumers may turn, for example, to:
- CASA – Automotive Sector Arbitration Centre · arbitragemauto.pt
- CNIACC – National Consumer Information and Arbitration Centre · cniacc.pt
